Community Nature Book!
I designed this community bookmaking project as part of the book tour for Core Samples: A Climate Scientist’s Experiments in Politics and Motherhood. As bookplates denote ownership, everyone who participates becomes an integral part of this project. My hope is to connect us all across time and space through creativity and our relationships to nature.

Science for Scientists
For the first decade of my career, I studied how warmer periods of climate in the geologic record drove the migration and evolution of species. This zine is based on that experience. I share what science is, how it is done, and how it feels to do.

Solving Climate Change Together
After I left science research, I worked as an advisor to Minnesota Senator Al Franken and Governor Mark Dayton. This zine is based on what I learned about the need for science in policy making, as well as how that science needs to be informed by and braided together with other ways of knowing and other kinds of experts.
